I am a planner, 100 percent. I like to have a plan, I like to be able to run through my day ahead of time, When things change last minute I usually get more stressed. So when it comes to the gender of our babies I like to know AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! Ha!
With Scarlett, I absolutely thought she was gonna be a boy, I just knew I would be a boy mom, My whole life I had planned for having a bunch of boys. (and I was oh so wrong :))
So we wanted to find out as soon as possible for my planners brain. We opted to do an early 3rd party ultrasound at 16 weeks and found out we were having a baby girl, not a boy! ha! I had some gender disappointment (but that’s a story for a different time. But I honestly was so happy I had some extra time to adjust to the idea of having a girl and of course our daughter is the most amazing kid I could have ever asked for!
This time around, Before we were even pregnant I heard about Sneak Peek early gender DNA testing. I found the company on Instagram and instantly knew I would want to work with them!
If you have never heard of it before, Is an at home DNA test that you can take at 9 weeks, they send you everything you need to prick your finger and put three drops of blood in a vile that has a liquid that preserves the blood. It’s a little intimidating but definitely wasn’t as bad as I was thinking.
There are two options for the at home test, You can compare the differences here: https://sneakpeektest.com/secure-purchase/
I got the test in the mail at 2pm and took the test and had it dropped back off by 3:10 ha! I did the FastTrack so I was sent an email and we knew we had our second daughter on the way at 8pm the next evening!
Overall it was a smooth and easy experience with Sneak Peek and I would definitely recommend the product to mommys who just can’t wait to know the gender!
